Josh Cohen is a tax partner in our San Francisco office. He began his tax career with the firm back in the 1990s, interrupted only by a brief three year period in which he worked with a New York City public accounting firm serving high net worth individual clients, service businesses and many clients in the entertainment and independent film industry.
Josh has a varied and interdisciplinary tax background, including significant experience with individual, flow through and corporate tax clients. His industry experience includes professional service and consulting businesses, technology, venture capital, private equity, resellers, manufacturers and film. His expertise also includes philanthropy and private foundations as well as international tax matters. Josh has served on many integrated teams of accountants, investment advisors and attorneys in planning and implementing tax strategies for individuals and family groups.
